Monroe Park, little girls enjoying the day, ca. 1910.



A good friend (Richmond artist and historian Richard Bland) shared these images with me some years ago. That's the 600 block of West Franklin St. in the back ground (a closer look and you can see a bit of the 500 block too). The image of the two girls sitting on the curb is of them most likely behind the Wickham Statue. I am really not sure of the date but 1910 seems about right.
