So where was that image?

It is the corner of Harrison and Park. The image was first published in in 1891 in the picture book on Richmond called "Picturesque Richmond" - then published again in 1996 in "Richmond's Fan District" by Drew Carneal.

That nice looking Richardsonian style house on the left was later replaced with the Scottish Rite Temple - we'll have an image of the temple, a masonic building, online in the next few weeks.

On the right you can see space for what would become the small park that houses the Howitzer Monument  which was unveiled in December of 1892. The neighborhood surrounding the Howitzer Monument was often referred to as "Howitzer Place."
